Welcome to the AHCT Website

Welcome to the Arts & Humanities Council of Tulsa website! AHCT is pleased to be a community partner working with many arts and cultural organizations to enhance the quality of life for the Greater Tulsa community.

Since 1961, AHCT has provided area youth and adults with outstanding educational opportunities. Today, our programs provide quality, arts-rich opportunities for more than 62,000 youth and adults, mostly from at-risk and underserved communities, throughout Tulsa County.

Our largest initiative ever, the new 42,000-square-foot Hardesty Arts Center, is under construction in the Brady Arts District. Watch our progress on the link above! This facility will offer classroom, gallery, and studio space to promote our arts education programs, as well as offer local artists professional growth, and provide opportunities for regional, national, and international partnerships for the cultural enhancement of our community. Kathy McRuiz, the Hardesty Arts Center Director, will be leading program and education development over the next twelve months as we prepare to open the AHHA in December 2012!

As a private, 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, AHCT depends on the financial support of individuals, corporations, and foundations for its existence. There are many ways for you to become involved and support what we are doing. Check out our site and find a way that's right for you! And be sure and follow us on FaceBook for the latest updates!

Warm regards,
